Fortinet SMB Summit 2024

Fortinet South Africa hosted their annual SMB Summit on the 23rd of October 2024 at the Langhams Executive Conferencing Centre. The SMB Summit is specifically designed to discuss the Cybersecurity Solutions that are tailor-made for SME’s and the opportunities that are offered to the channel.

L’Oreal South Africa’s Big City Bash Year End Function

With a classy take on the “Big City Life in New York”, the L’Oreal South Africa staff were treated to a Big City Bash on the 6th of December 2024 to end an exciting, successful year!

Röhlig- Grindrod 50th Celebration

A phenomenal milestone was reached for Röhlig Grindrod as they celebrated 50 spectacular years as a joint entity. Röhlig Grindrod formed a joint partnership over 50 years ago and has achieved phenomenal milestones & growth which formed the anchor of the celebratory event on the 28th of November 2024.

For the second year in a row, UP A TONE Events Agency had the incredible privilege of planning, conceptualising & collaborating on the For Women in Science Gala Awards event with the L'Oreal South Africa team.

We had the privilege of supplying a number of key elements for the Dermatological Society of South Africa Congress & Gala Dinner, that was in partnership with L'Oreal South Africa from the 21st - 24th of August 2024.

Fortinet SMB Summit 2023

In November 2023, we organised the Fortinet SMB Summit at the industrial-chic venue, Level Three in Sandton. This event, though smaller in scale than the previous Fortinet event, was just as impactful. It focused on the internet security needs of small and medium business enterprises in South Africa.

L'Oréal Dark and Lovely Relaunch

We had the pleasure of contributing to the relaunch of L'Oréal's iconic Dark and Lovely range at the beautiful Inimitable venue in Muldersdrift. Contracted for our expertise in technical production, photography, and videography, our team ensured every moment was flawlessly executed and captured.

L'Oréal South Africa Year-End Function

UP A TONE EVENTS had the privilege of organising a spectacular year-end function for L'Oréal South Africa. The event, themed "Loachella" – inspired by the Coachella festival – was held at The Ground in Muldersdrift and hosted 650 attendees.

Fortinet Security Day Johannesburg

We had the honour of organising Fortinet's Security Day Johannesburg at the prestigious Polo Room in Sandton. This high-end business function brought together 350 delegates for a day of insightful presentations and networking. Attendees had the opportunity to learn more about Fortinet's offerings and participate in the Channel Awards.

Electro Mechanica

In a seamless blend of innovation and transformation, UP A TONE EVENTS orchestrated the Electro Mechanica Catalogue launch, taking place at their Johannesburg offices in Ormonde and extending to Cape Town a week later.The event was a masterclass in reimagining spaces to bring a product to life.

Alton x Huawei

In celebration of the remarkable 10-year partnership between Altron and Huawei, an elegant gala dinner unfolded within the refined ambience of The Leonardo in Sandton. Hosting 140 esteemed guests, the event marked the collaboration between two international brands, exemplifying the significance of connection and shared achievements.

Standard Bank

The Standard Bank Global Offsite was a kaleidoscope of captivating experiences set against the stunning backdrop of Sun City. With 63 delegates, the journeyseamlessly combined travel, incentives, team building, and conference components into an unforgettable event. Commencing at Radisson Red in Rosebank, the excitement unfolded as attendees embarked on a remarkable adventure to Sun City in stretch Porsche and Hummer limos.

“Safripol’s Dazzling Night: A Luminous Legend Unveiled at Thaba Eco Hotel” Get ready to be dazzled, as Safripol’s awards night took center stage at Thaba Eco Hotel. With an intimate gathering of just 54 esteemed guests, we unveiled a luminous legend that lit up the night.

Direct Transact’s Year End celebration, combined with their significant 20th-anniversary milestone, unfolded at the Mercedes Building at Menlyn Maine,where innovation thrived. The challenge was embraced head-on: elevating office spaces into vibrant celebratory realms that pulsated with life and energy.

Mukuru

Stepping into the spotlight at The 10th Floor by Summit, UP A TONE EVENTS orchestrated an unforgettable year-end gathering for African baking GiantMukuru, uniting 250 employees after a long and successful year.

Momentum Outdoor Picnic

Momentum’s Outdoor Picnic was a breath of fresh air after the easing of COVID restrictions, providing a much-needed opportunity for the team to emerge from hibernation. Hosted at the Botanical Gardens in Pretoria, the event welcomed 700 attendees, celebrating the joy of being together once again.

Momentum Digital Innovation Fest

Momentum Digital Innovation Festival welcomed 150 attendees, from the IT department, for a conference designed to ignite innovation. The event ambience exuded Momentum’s signature colors, custom decor, and dynamic LED screens,perfectly resonating with the digital theme.

Momentum Monte de Dios

Momentum’s Momlife Leadership Connect event unfolded with grace and charm at the picturesque Monte di Dios, playing host to 250 guests seeking inspiration and connection. Event Behella was the main PCO for this occasion and collectively our collaboration added distinctive touches that enhanced the overall experience.

Momentum Find Your Tribe

Kickstarting the year with a powerful theme – ‘Finding your tribe!’ Frommeticulous planning to flawless execution, the event was designed to take attendees on a journey of self-discovery and unity. Taking place at LOFT AT NINE the industrial venue in the heart of Pretoria East, one of the distinct brands within our portfolio.

Sungrow

Our expertise extends throughout South Africa, as shown by the product launch for Sungrow, spanning Johannesburg’s Leonardo in Sandton and extending to Cape Town. We orchestrated a seamless logistics plan, effortlessly transporting the product launch essentials from Johannesburg to Cape Town. With a nationwide footprint, we stand primed to execute events anywhere in the country.

DAB Pumps

For the dynamic stage set for DAB Pumps Customer open day, we harnessed our creative prowess to transform their warehouse into a captivating Italian F1 haven, channeling Le Festa vibes that left a lasting impression. Against the backdrop of custom décor, we orchestrated a remarkable two-day event that hosted an impressive gathering of 80 attendees per day. With our hallmark ingenuity, we seamlessly merged the functional space into an Italian-inspired extravaganza.

Webber Wentzel

In a seamless blend of business sophistication and unique experiences, our nationwide expertise led us to the idyllic setting of Hermanus in the Western Cape. Against this backdrop, lawyers from Webber Wentzel came together for an event that seamlessly intertwined professionalism with moments of relaxation.

Renflex (Reform)

The best words an events planner can hear is, “I trust you, just make itawesome” This has since become the norm with the digital printing empire of Renflex and Renform. Where working with a client open to novel ideas, unconventional venues, and vibrant themes. For event planners, this collaboration is a dream come true. Among the array of projects, a particular favorite stands out: the transformation of their expansive factory into a mesmerizing fire and ice showcase. This event was a testament to the synergy of old and new digital printing technologies, brought to life in a spectacle awash with blue and red hues, dry ice, and creative brilliance.

Röhlig- Grindrod

Röhlig understands treating their staff and educating their sales team UP A TONE EVENTS’ enduring partnership with this company- Röhlig- Grindrod and Luzanne Fourie from Summit Conferencing has been a cornerstone of our journey. The 2017 year-end function epitomised a vibrant celebration of South African culture. From braai stands to Durban curry bunny chow stations, culinary delights abounded. Boki, a trusted entertainer, had the audience dancing at the iconic Kathy’s Palace bar, where the Johannesburg skyline painted a mesmerising backdrop.

AVBOB

Held in the heart of Pretoria at the industrial warehouse venue 102 Centralthe AVBOB year-end function was a day filled with spitbraais and goodtimes With eight hundred guests making their way from their offices across theroad, logistical challenges were met head-on. The venue’s lack offurniture and bar facilities required UP A TONE EVENTS to step in with acomplete solution, providing tables, chairs, decor, bars, technicalsupport, and catering. The Mzansi Youth Choir’s resounding voicesechoed deep within everyone’s hearts, adding a melodious touch to thecelebration.

SAMSUNG

Technology giant, Samsung, approached us to host a series of events attheir offices in Fourways Masters of the art of transforming office spaces into stylish eventhavens, this endeavour was akin to the team’s metaphorical “justanother day at the office.” The UP A TONE EVENTS team seamlessly orchestrated diversegatherings, from MBA graduate functions to Hotel club events andWomen’s Day celebrations. Amidst the ever-changing tapestry ofclients, one constant thread remains: a commitment to class, elegance,delectable cuisine, enchanting decor, and cutting-edge AV.

Jeep

The launch of the All new JEEP Renegade at Brooklyn McCarthy was not just a simple car launch We embarked on an event that truly embodied the “renegade” spirit. Following a bespoke black Russian welcome martini, guests were immersed in an environment defined by edgy furniture, a captivating revolving JEEP showcase, and a mesmerising laser performance. These were merely a few of the evening’s standout elements that left are sounding impact.

Printing SA

The federation of Printing and Printing SA hosts the Printing SA week of Print at Gallagher estate annually Attended by an impressive turnout of six hundred guests, this event leaves no stone unturned when it comes to meticulous attention to detail. Themes range from the enigmatic Madam Zingara to the nostalgia of a 1920’s printing press, yet the underlying essence remains consistent. The focus is squarely on celebrating the industry, its partners, and the substantial economic contribution of printing.

Amplifin

Pay portal giant – Ampifin – is definitely known in the office as the fun client. At Upatone Events, our passion lies in transforming ordinary gatherings into extraordinary experiences. One client that embodiesthis spirit of excitement and innovation is the vibrant Pay Portal giant – Ampifin. Collaborating with Ampifin, we venture beyond theconventional, crafting events that resonate with their dynamic essence and stand as a testament to meticulous planning and precision.

Altron Nexus

One of the favourite annual highlights is planning the Altron Nexus (previously Altech) team-building and staff Imbuzo’s yearly From the elegance of Casino Royale at Champagne Sport Resort to the artistic allure of The Royal Elephant in Centurion, we’ve curated a range of experiences. Our recent venture at Thaba Eco Hotel in Alberton unfolded as a dynamic team-building activity, uniting nearly three hundred staff in crafting inventive dishes and setting up a vibrant food truck stand.

Godrej

The brief was simple “make it wow,” and that’s exactly what wedelivered. From impressive AV setups and stunning venues tocaptivating décor and entertainment, our approach is to consistentlyevoke the “wow” factor. In 2019, the spotlight was on the esteemedAfrican Pride Mount Grace Hotel, where we meticulously collaboratedwith the venue to orchestrate every facet of the two-day event,resulting in resounding success.

Groenkloof Chambers

Once a year the distinguished advocates of Pretoria meet to celebrate the industry, judges and the advocate profession. Beneath the splendid GK Chambers building in Groenkloof, Pretoria, a transformed cricket pitch sets the stage. The UP A TONE EVENTS team steps in to orchestrate an exquisite yet eclectic soiree, crafted entirely from the ground up. Amidst an array of challenges – a vehicle-inaccessible cricket pitch, the absence of running water, power, and refrigeration – we unfurl a masterful logistical blueprint. This blueprint encompasses a mobile kitchen, safeguarding flooring, cooling trailers, upscale lavatories, and generators.

Eazi Access

Step into the dynamic world of EAZI ACCESS as we embarked on a captivating four-day event at the esteemed Kyalami racecourse—an extraordinary affair that celebrated innovation and expertise within the material handling and working at height industry. Our event prowess took center stage as we meticulously crafted an engaging showcase for EAZI ACCESS, spotlighting their command of cherry pickers, forklifts, and working at heights solutions.

Peppa Pig

Mastering the art of mall activations, events, and promotional staff is in our DNA. While we may not have been in the children’s entertainment realm for eons, our track record of delivering top-tier events in quick succession is a testament to our expertise.
