A phenomenal milestone was reached for Röhlig Grindrod as they celebrated 50 spectacular years as a joint entity. Röhlig Grindrod formed a joint partnership over 50 years ago and has achieved phenomenal milestones & growth which formed the anchor of the celebratory event on the 28th of November 2024.

UP A TONE Events Agency was afforded the opportunity to supply & provide a full turnkey event comprising of an, exquisite, clear PVC dome marquee tent, over 600 square meters of white ABS flooring to truly bring out the “glitz & glamour” element of the event, strategic, bold, eye-catching furniture and decor that spoke volumes & was directly linked to the company’s corporate identity & overall logistical offering – Land, Sea & Air. The event’s technical elements consisted of an intense visual & technical set-up with bold intelligent lighting, a large, eye-catching LED screen and vibrant sound elements.

The entertainment of the evening was nothing short of amazing. The guests were welcomed by an exquisite live in-person canvas painting of a violinist. The event was hosted by South African MC & Comedy Legend, Joey Rasdien and further welcomed Savannah Sun as the main event entertainment who truly kept the guests on their feet with their up-beat performances & engagement.

The evening’s formalities ended with a spectacular display of pyrotechnics, consisting of a fire-lit 50 sign, and stunning confetti.
